The “face” of Beach House Family Shelter

The face of Beach House is…

In all of the children who have gone to sleep with full bellies and clean bodies, who were free to play and learn, and ask for candy before breakfast. In the parents that could rest because their families were finally safe. In the devastation of lost homes, marriages and jobs. In the diminishing hope and apprehensive tears. In the unreserved honesty and willingness to ask for help. In the courage to endure. In accomplishing goals and experiencing setbacks. In making mistakes and moving forward.

In the decades of dedication and devotion. In the hearts of the giving and the prayers of the praying. In the humility and the heartbreak, the adversity and the triumph. In the commitment to serve others. In the tradition of kindness and compassion. In the founding principal of the golden rule.

It is in the trust given to us by the community and all of the people that we get to serve!
